Dogs are very welcome at Dolffanog Fach but we ask that you consider other guests and don’t bring dogs if you know they spend a lot of time barking.
We have a dog, Josie, our young Labrador. We live next door to the B&B so our dog doesn’t often come into contact with guests (unless you would like to meet her!)
There is a one off charge of £10 for bringing your pets. (we reserve the right to make a cleaning charge if damage or excessive mess is caused) and they are allowed in the bedroom and the guest lounge.
The garden is secure and you are welcome to use it to exercise your dog, but please be aware that we are adjacent to a field containing livestock.
Please note, we do not allow dogs in the dining room but we are happy for you to leave well behaved dogs in your room while you eat.
Carroll & Awdry are the best rooms for dogs as they are the largest, but dogs of all sizes have stayed very happily in all our rooms. We ask that you do not allow dogs on the furniture.
We are familiar with the best places to go with dogs, most of the beaches are dog friendly at certain places all year round and we can let you know the best places to park to access these areas. We have notices that although Wales is remarkably dog friendly (you will notice many shops and pubs allow dogs) walking through the countryside with them can sometimes be problematic. There are many ladder type stiles which can be difficult to get over with some dogs – be prepared to lift!
Some local attractions do not allow dogs. If you want to visit one of these and do not want to leave your dog in the car, we are happy to “babysit” so long as your dog is good with children and other dogs.
In case of emergency our local vets is in Tywyn, about 20 minutes away. Cambrian Vets 37 High St, Tywyn LL36 9AE
